Use these procedures to move one or more web pages to a different parent page in the web site. When you move a parent page, all of the child pages also move.

Moving a single page

Log into Edit Mode of ACM
          
   Method 1:  In Edit Mode of the Page you would like to move.

  1. If the page has been published, Edit the page you wish to move.
  2. In the Page Summary section at the top, locate the Move Page field.
  3. Click on <<Select Page>>.
  4. Select the new parent page and click OK.
  5. When the page is redisplayed, click Save and submit the Parent page for publication.
  6. Go to System>Cache Clearance and click the Clear Cache button.
        
   Method 2
(Can be used if page has been published or if it has not)

  1. If the page has not been published, Edit the Parent page of the page you wish to move.
  2. In the Child Pages Tab section of the Parent Page and select the page you want to move.  Locate the Move button at the bottom right of the page and click.
  3. Click on <<Select Page>>.
  4. Select the new parent page and click Ok.
  5. When the page is redisplayed, click Save and publish the Parent page.
  6. Go to System>Cache Clearance and click the Clear Cache button.

 

Note: You cannot move the Home page. Also, if the page you are moving is overdue for Review, you cannot move it. You must make sure the page is Reviewed and then move it. If a page is overdue for review, it will display a message next to the page's Edit icon.


Moving multiple pages simultaneously

  1. Edit the parent page of the pages you wish to move.
  2. On the Child Pages tab, click the Select checkbox for each of the pages.
  3. Click Move and select the new parent page. You will have to click OK on the Move window to complete the move.
  4. Click Save and republish all pages.
  5. Go to System>Cache Clearance and click the Clear Cache button.
