There may be occasions when you want to assign heat and lane numbers to your athletes when you enter them into events. When the meet host imports your entries into Meet Manager your lane assignments will cross over (see Export Meet Entry File for help in exporting your entries). The meet host will still have the option to make adjustments as they see fit. This process would be used for Relay Entries or other meets where the Dual Meet Seeding option is not appropriate
- See Declare Entries in TM for help entering athletes into events
- Once athletes are entered, go to Meets from main screen
- Select desired meet
- Select Entries, then Entries by Event
- Select first event that needs lane and heat assignments
- Enter the heat number in Heat column
- Note: A heat number must be entered if you are going to make lane assignments, enter "1" if only one heat
- Enter the lane number in the LN column
