Several different issues can cause entries to not import from a semi-colon delimited entry file so that you only receive athletes, not entries. Below are five causes followed by the solution.
 
Cause 1: Not setting up events in Meet Manager. If no events are set up, there are no events to import entries into
 
Solution:
  1. Add events, then import entry file
 
Cause 2: Meet setup with Meet Type of Divisions by Event, but Online Setup is not using divisions

Solution:
  1. Go to Set-up > Meet Set-up
  2. Change Meet Type to Standard
  3. Once file is imported, change Meet Type back to Divisions by Event 
 
Cause 3: Meet Setup Online to use Divisions, but Meet Type is Standard (not using divisions) in Meet Manager
 
Solution:
  1. Go to Set-up > Meet Set-up, change Meet Type to Divisions by Event, click OK
  2. Go to Set-up > Division/Region Names > Divisions to view/edit divisions
  3. Right-click Division Name field on Div # line to edit​
  • Note: Division number is first column on that screen for each division
  1. Enter appropriate Code and Name
  2. Go to Events, edit each and enter correct division
 
Cause 4: Meet setup using divisions both Online and in Meet Manager, but divisions were not selected in each event in Meet Manager
 
Solution:
  1. Go to Events
  2. Edit each event to enter correct division
 
Cause 5: Meet setup to use divisions both online and in Meet Manager, but divisions are numbered differently
  • Example: Divisions are numbered 11 & 12 in Meet Manager, while numbered 1 & 2 Online
  • Note: Semi-colon delimited entry file includes division # if divisions are used (blank if no division used)
  • Note: Field in entry file must match Meet Manager setup (when not matched, athletes import but entries will not)
Solution:
  1. Go to Set-up > Division/Region Names > Divisions to view/edit divisions
  2.  Right-click Division Name field on Div # line to edit​
  • Note: Division number is first column on that screen for each division
  1. Enter appropriate Code and Name
  2. Go to Events, edit each event to enter correct division
  • ​ Note: After using correct solution, import entry file again
